Privacy Policy

1. Overview

Water4Life is a water treatment management game published by ShakePlay ("we", "us" or "our"). This policy explains how information may be handled when you use the Water4Life iOS app and the Water4Life pages on shakeplay.app.

We aim to collect only what is needed to operate, support and monetise the app. Water4Life does not require you to create a Water4Life account to play.

2. Information handled by the app

Water4Life may store game progress, settings, unlocked content and other gameplay state locally on your device so the game can continue between sessions. Information stored locally by the app is not automatically sent to us simply because it exists on your device.

The app may also use third-party services that process limited device, advertising and diagnostic information as described below.

3. Advertising and Google Mobile Ads

Water4Life may display advertising using Google Mobile Ads (AdMob). Depending on your device, region, consent choices and our advertising configuration, Google and its advertising partners may process information such as:

• IP address and approximate or coarse location derived from it;
• device and advertising identifiers;
• information about ads displayed and interactions with those ads;
• app interaction information used for advertising or measurement;
• crash logs, diagnostics and performance information; and
• other information described by Google for the Mobile Ads SDK.

Google may use this information to provide, measure, secure and improve advertising services, subject to your consent choices and applicable law.

Where Apple requires permission before information can be used to track activity across other companies' apps or websites, Water4Life will rely on the permission state provided by iOS. You can change tracking permissions at any time in your iPhone or iPad settings.

In regions where consent is required for advertising technologies, a privacy or consent message may be presented before relevant advertising data is used.

4. In-app purchases

Water4Life may offer optional digital content through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Payments are processed by Apple. We do not receive your full payment-card details. Apple may provide transaction information needed to confirm, restore or manage an entitlement, such as whether a purchase was completed and the product purchased.

Apple's handling of payment and App Store information is governed by Apple's own privacy terms and policies.

5. How information is used

Information processed in connection with Water4Life may be used to:

• operate and maintain the game;
• remember game progress, settings and purchased entitlements;
• display and measure advertising;
• detect crashes, diagnose technical problems and improve reliability;
• prevent fraud, abuse or invalid advertising activity; and
• respond to support, privacy or legal requests.

6. Sharing of information

We do not sell your directly identifying personal information. Information may be processed by service providers used to operate Water4Life, including Apple for App Store and In-App Purchase services and Google for mobile advertising and associated measurement or diagnostics.

We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect users or our rights, or to investigate fraud or security issues.

7. Your choices

Depending on your region and device settings, you may be able to control advertising personalisation, consent choices and tracking permissions. iOS tracking permissions can be reviewed in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

8. Children

Water4Life is not specifically directed to children and is not presented as an Apple Kids Category app. We do not knowingly ask children to provide names, email addresses or other directly identifying personal information through normal gameplay. Where applicable, advertising and consent settings should be configured in accordance with the age of the user and applicable law.

9. Data security and retention

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the information we control. Third-party providers apply their own security and retention practices to information they process. Local gameplay information remains on your device unless it is removed by the app, deleted with the app, restored through a device backup or otherwise handled by iOS.

10. International processing

Third-party providers such as Apple and Google operate internationally. Information processed by those providers may be handled in countries other than the country where you live, subject to their legal and contractual safeguards.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when Water4Life changes, when we add or remove service providers, or when legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when we make material changes.
